Windsurfing Shortboard School 5-day

Action Sports Maui is a full service windsurfing school, located at Kanaha Beach on Maui's north shore.

This is a complete short-board sailing course including the basics. The "Shortboard School" course includes two hours of instruction per day for Five days. The days need not be consecutive. This course is great for people with longboard experience who want to get into the stronger winds. Whether you live on Maui, or are just visiting, this course allows you to take full advantage of the island's strong trade winds. Allow yourself a few extra days to accommodate variable weather conditions. In this course we cover; short-board basics, water-start tips, harness and footstraps and short-board turns and some jibing. This course is also a great refresher course for people just getting back into the sport after an extended absence. This course is a great opportunity not to be missed. Maui is one of the few places with reliable enough winds to reliably schedule a specialty course like this. *Gear is not included in this class so, Bring your own board or rent from our store to have a selection of equipment for the different classes. Bring your own short-board or transition board, or you can rent your gear at our store from $45/day, and practice after your lesson.

Meet at Kanaha Beach Park on the north shore, behind the Kahului Airport. All Equipment is supplied. Small class sizes give the student the maximum attention.
