General Admission |
The General Admission ticket allows visitors to tour the battleship at their own leisurely pace, without the assistance from our professional tour guides. Throughout the vessel, they'll get a taste of shipboard living as they experience the way our men lived. With some areas still preserved in their natural state, the battleship provides an accurate account of how these brave men spent countless days out at sea.

Explorer's Tour |
The Explorer's Tour gives visitors a very exclusive behind the scenes look into the ship's impressive fire rooms, machinery, main and secondary battery plots and working areas. During this 90-minute tour, visitors explore the Missouri's Post Office and walk through crew berthing areas as they were left in 1992 at the ship's decommissioning. Visitors also see the machine shop, where sailors manufactured nearly any repair piece the ship required at sea. Visitors descend within the armor belt to "Broadway," the longest passageway in the ship that connects all of the Missouri?s fire and engine rooms and is the length of a WWII submarine. Stepping off "Broadway" visitors move into the secondary and main battery plots, which are home to the pre-war vintage computers that controlled the battleship's gigantic 16-inch gun turrets and 5-inch guns. Once inside "Mighty Mo's" battery plot, visitors are immersed in the intricate nerve center of these formidable weapons and get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to squeeze the brass "trigger" that fires the big guns. Visitors also see the crew's galley and the Chief Petty Officer's (CPO) exhibit.
Tours are available daily at 10:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:00 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. (Special times may also be arranged through reservations)
