The Lani Kai is a fast and comfortable power catamaran staffed by a fun, friendly, experienced crew. Small goups, personal instruction, waterslide and fresh water showers. Captain Marc Minkler has over 25 years experience driving boats and following the movements and habits of Humpback Whales in Maalaea Bay. He knows where to find them, will tell you all about them and answer your questions. Captain Marc can even identify his favorite returning whales. He is the ultimate local guide when it comes to whales.
A hydrophone (underwater microphone) transmits whale songs to the surface for all to enjoy.
