Hear personal stories of struggle and triumph revealing how plantation workers from China, Japan, Korea, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Okinawa and the Philippines ventured to Hawaii in search of a better future. By adapting and blending their ways of life, these pioneers together with the Native Hawaiians created a new, thriving multi-ethnic society.
