The early Hawaiians setteled these island and developed some of the most advanced agricultural practices in the world for a Stone Age culture. After Captain Cook "discovered" the islands in 1778, more agricultural developments, occurred in Hawaii that would leave a permanent mark on the physical, cultural and social landscape of Hawaii. The Hawaiian fishing, farming and garden tour explores different facets of this rich history by going through feilds of tropical flowers, fruit trees and gardens before venturing out on Molii Fishpond. This 800 year old, 125 acre Hawaiian Fishpond, is one of the largest and most well preserved ponds left in Hawaii.
