Our sunset volcano adventures begin with a guided tour coastline tour of the Big Islands newest lands including the ever changing Volcano eruption, panoramic views of Big Island Volcanoes, Black Sand Beaches, Ocean Lava Tubes, Sea Cliffs, Junglescapes & vast array of marine life. After an extensive Big Island scenic cruise its time to experience the magic of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park where lava has flowed from the Kilauea Volcano since January 3rd, 1983. Whether lava is flowing into the sea, down the pali (mountainside), or erupting at the summit a view of lava actively flowing is always a special occasion. Volcano boat tours are a great way to view Hawaii's active volcanoes and offer the best view of lava entering the sea. Lava Conditions are an ever-changing phenomena & a spectacle to see whether entering the ocean or flowing red rivers of lava down the mountainside. Lava has not touched the sea since January 2nd, 2012 so all trips will be our Volcano Boat Tour until further notice at our discounted rate of Adults $150 & Children $125.

Hawaii Lava Hike

Lava Hikes walk you to see lava flowing across the land in route to the sea.
Join us as in Kalapana on a lava hike to visit Madame Pele's rivers of fire. Walk over recent lava flows and feel the heat as our volcano guides lead you to experience the ever changing lava flows from the Kilauea Volcano. Feel the heat under your feet, hear the crackling of the lava while keeping an eye out for surface outbreaks. This is an experience you don't want to miss!

Lava is a natural event and can start and stop without warning. When there is no Lava visible at Kalapana the tour will access private lands to bring you as close as possible to the current front of the most recent lava flows.

This extreme Hawaii tour hikes over rough lava terrain which can have steep trail grades. We do not recommend this tour for children under 6 years of age or those with recent leg or foot injuries please consult your doctor before booking. Our lava hikes cover a vast amount of lava terrain anywhere from 4-10 miles cal fro recent conditions; all hikers must be able to retain a good pace lava terrain.

In the event active lava is not available we offer a guided volcano boat tour where we convert our lava viewing time to extended coastal viewing experience deep into the secluded Hawaii Volcanoes National Park where lava has entered the sea for the last 30 years.

We recommend that our booked passengers call (808) 966-4200 to check in at least 24 hours prior to a trip to go over any last minute detail or answer questions, directions and to get updated meet and departure times as well as updates on weather and lava conditions.
Cancellation Policy: Reservations cancelled before 48 hours receive a 90% refund. All cancellations will be assessed a 10% processing fee Cancellations Less than 48 hours will not be refunded it doesn't allow enough time to rebook seats. No Shows will also be charged.
