This tour begins with a sweeping vista of the resorts at Ko Olina and the marina area. Here you'll get an aerial view of the infamous Queen Anne?s Revenge, Captain Jack Sparrow's ship from The Pirates of the Caribbean. Ships of a more recent vintage occupy your next highlight, Pearl Harbor. In addition to the Navy's latest, you'll see two WWII icons, the Arizona Memorial and the Battleship Missouri, often referred to as the "bookends of WWII." Up next is placid Keehi Lagoon, home of a variety of ocean sports, and historic Honolulu Harbor. You'll see Aloha Tower, once the tallest structure on the island, as well cruise ships from distant ports.

Next is downtown Honolulu, featuring the only royal palace in the country. Above the city stands Punchbowl, the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. The tour continues above Ala Moana Beach Park, Magic Island, the Ala Wai Yacht Harbor and Waikiki Beach. See surfers, marine life and the sparkling white sand of the world's most famous beach. At Diamond Head, you'll turn and head over Honolulu proper, the University of Hawaii campus and on up the Nuuanu Pali. Here you will get a fine view of Lulumahu Falls and a grand perspective of Honolulu.

On your return to the resort area you'll see the campus of Kamehameha Schools and Oahu?s Central Plain.

Catamaran Sail & Snorkel - Our catamaran cruise also provides you with a chance to see dolphins up close, but you'll stay aboard rather than swim with the creatures. The catamaran snorkel adventure tour is more relaxed than the dolphin encounter, but you'll still have ample opportunity to see gorgeous coral reefs and the colorful fish that inhabit the area. After seeing the dolphins, you'll visit two snorkel spots including "Turtle Town", a natural turtle cleaning station. You'll watch the ever friendly green sea turtles gather to get their shells and skin cleaned by algae-eating reef fish.

During the winter months, you may also be treated to the sight of humpback whales, as well as a variety of rays and Hawaiian monk seals.

Tour features complimentary hot drinks and muffins for our early morning tour, and hot and cold drinks and snacks for our mid-day tour. Lunch is served at the marina following your tour. Choice of a Hawaiian-style pulled pork, teriyaki chicken sandwich or a veggie burger, as well as fruit salad, chips, and hot and cold drinks. Bottled water is provided onboard the boat.

Makani Kai Helicopters has a 72-hour cancellation policy. Customers cancelling flight within 72 hours "may" be charged for their flight. Please call us at (877) 255-8532 at least five days prior to your tour to reconfirm hotel pick up address and time. Open Seating passengers weighing in excess of 250 pounds may be charged an additional fee equal to one-half the cost of one seat. Open Seating passengers weighing more than 300 pounds will be charged for an additional seat. Any two Open Seating passengers from the same reservation whose combined weight exceeds 430 pounds may be required to purchase a comfort seat. An individual First Class passenger?s weight must not exceed 180 pounds; the combined weight of two First Class passengers must not exceed 345 pounds.
