Mountain Riders provides guided bicycle tours from the entrance of Haleakala National Park to the Ocean (26 mile guided bike ride). Round trip transportation, windbreaker suits, gloves, helmet and all fees & surcharges are included.

The Sunrise Journey is our most popular bicycle tour and has very limited capacity due to new park regulations.
YOU MUST BOOK YOUR TOUR IN ADVANCE.
Tour begins with hotel pick-up and van tour to the Summit of Haleakala. Guides will provide clients with a history of Haleakala, its geology and an explanation of rare plants and animals only found on Maui. Upon arrival at the House of the Sun Visitors Center, clients will be escorted to the rim of the Crater and view into the worlds largest dormant volcano. The Tour proceeds to the 6,500 foot level of Haleakala where clients are expertly fitted to their bicycles and begin their 28-mile bike ride down the slopes of Haleakala, continuing thru the switchbacks, Haleakala Ranch, and Kula.
A NO-HOST Breakfast or REST stop at the Sunrise Market & Protea Farm. The ride of a lifetime continues through Upcountry Kula, Makawao, Hailiimaile and down to the Pacific Ocean ending at the Paia Bay Beach Park.
We include round trip transportation, continental breakfast at the summit, Columbia Sportswear windbreaker pants and jacket, gloves, helmet and state of the art volcano chrome cruiser bikes.
