Tour begins with hotel pick-up and van tour to the Summit of Haleakala. Guides will provide clients with a history of Haleakala, its geology and an explanation of rare plants and animals only found on Maui. Upon arrival at the House of the Sun Visitors Center, clients will be escorted to the rim of the Crater and view into the worlds largest dormant volcano.
The Tour proceeds to the 6,500 foot level of Haleakala where clients are expertly fitted to their bicycles and begin their 26-mile bike ride down the slopes of Haleakala, continuing thru the switchbacks, and Haleakala Ranch.
Tour stops at Sunrise Market and Protea Farm for a NO-HOST lunch. The ride of a lifetime continues down through Kula, Makawao, Hailiimaile and to the Pacific Ocean ending at Paia Beach Park.
We include round trip transportation, continental breakfast enroute to the launching point, Columbia Sportswear windbreaker pants and jacket, gloves, helmet and state fo the art volcano chrome cruiser bikes.
