Maui's Favorite Adventure Team! Try kayaking and snorkeling in secluded spots away from the power boats. Try Surfing some waves. Fun for the whole famiy. www.southpacifickayaks.com

ACTIVITIES:

Olowalu Snorkel Safari

The Olowalu area is home to one of the dynamic reefs on Maui and holds abundant sea life for you to see first hand. This easy-going paddle is a great mini getaway from the resorts, crowds and busy beaches. We meet and launch about five miles south of Lahaina from a sandy beach and enjoy the typically clear and shallow waters of the Olowalu beach reserve area. This area is popular for snorkeling as it's home to a very large reef system and a lot of sea life. A typical tour paddles about 2.5 miles along the coastline with the West Maui Mountains bearing over us and the long sandy beaches alongside. Great for the whole family with year-round availability. Since the Olowalu Beach Reserve area is home to one of the most dynamic reefs found on Maui, snorkeling here is quite amazing.

Whale Watching

There is nothing like viewing a humpback whale from ocean level; these creatures are huge!. This is a really special trip where we head out into the ocean and enjoy the beautiful views and company of the famous Humpback Whale. We can't express the feeling you'll experience when you see them relatively close up. Remember, these are protected animals so we abide by all regulations. A great trip, one you will never forget!

Turtle Reef Tango

Makena in South Maui is home to a large population of sea turtles. Our Turtle Reef Tango takes you on a 2.5 mile paddle in the Makena Bay area enjoying the simple beauty of South Maui and the gorgeous coastline here. We know just about all the turtles here so come on down and meet them - We'll introduce you! Snorkeling in this bay will make you smile?even if you're underwater. Really though, if you want to see turtles in their natural environment, Makena's the spot! Great weather, water and sea life ? how can you go wrong? Makena is one of the most perfect spots on Maui to enjoy kayaking, snorkeling and a nice morning on the Maui waters. Always a great paddle and one the most consistently calm areas. Join us in Makena for a memorable experience and see the turtles.

Kayaking Maui's Pali Sea Clff Discovery

The Pali Sea Cliff is our signature trip for a good reason. One of our more challenging activities with longer paddling distances, and more exposure to the channel, this is a great and exciting way to experience Maui's beautiful island environment. On this kayaking trip, you're treated to beautiful coastline where you'll be away from it all. No resorts nearby, no beaches, no crowds. Enjoy the serene quiet of the area. The coastline is lined with rocky and rugged terrain and typically clear waters for superb snorkeling. With plenty of opportunities to see turtles, eels, rays, and an abundance of sea life, this kayaking and snorkeling combination will have you smiling and enjoying your morning out on the ocean.

Honolua Hula Excursion (May 15 - Oct 15)

The Kapalua area on Maui offers stunning views and coastline to paddle. This summer time tour offers one of the most scenic coastline and inlet bays to enjoy on Maui. While mother nature provides the rugged and soothing environment of the area, we paddle from DT Fleming beach park in to Honolua Bay Reserve (this is a Natural Area Reserve). Here you will find a little aquarium full of reef life and so much very fun to explore ? just like snorkeling in a fishbowl! A great four mile paddle with enough adventure packed into the morning for your entire day. This Maui reserve offers incredible snorkeling sights where turtles and dolphins are not uncommon. This is some of the most exciting coastline on Maui for you to explore through kayaking and snorkeling.

South Maui Deluxe

Our South Maui Deluxe is for those needing more water time, more snorkeling and more sunshine. This 4.5 mile paddle is a great easy going full morning of kayaking, snorkeling and laughing. Enjoy the scenic areas along Makena, Haleakala, and the scenery while kayaking along the calm waters. Snorkeling a favorite? This one provides up to three snorkeling stops (we do what the group wants ? more kayaking or more snorkeling) but everyone will be smiling after this one. Oh? did we mention the whales?. In season, this is a great whale watching area. If you're looking for a full morning of kayaking and snorkeling enjoying the best of Maui's beautiful south coast, look no further. Come and enjoy exceptional snorkeling, loads of reef life, beautiful coral, and turtles everywhere.

Kihei Makena Cruise

The Pali Sea Cliff is our signature trip for a good reason. One of our more challenging activities with longer paddling distances, and more exposure to the channel, this is a great and exciting way to experience Maui's beautiful island environment. On this kayaking trip, you're treated to beautiful coastline where you'll be away from it all. This is the newest addition to our kayaking tour family. This is a one way trip where you will enjoy all the 5.5 miles of coastline and many, many opportunities for snorkeling. Let's meet in Kihei at Kalama Park and paddle southbound to Makena Landing. As we travel along, we'll pass by private beach homes, very expensive resorts, maybe see some starlettes, snorkel some great reefs, enjoy a lunch, and quite simply, have a great day. The sights along the coast are amazing, but the snorkeling sights are even more breathtaking. There is a great variety of reefs to explore and see turtles, dolphins, eels, rays, and fish galore. You'll feel fabulous taking this one way trip down one of the nicest coastlines in Maui. Good weather and conditions make this one sure to please.
