Imagine 200 spinner dolphins putting on a show just for you. Imagine swimming right beside Hawaiian green sea turtles. Imagine seeing a mother humpback whale and her newborn calf. Imagine enjoying majestic Maui and the deep blue sea. Imagine no more. Climb aboard an ocean raft for a thrilling ride across one of Maui County's channels, and you'll find a snorkeler's heaven. Whether it's the island of Lanai, Molokai, or even Maui, you will be hard pressed to find a more exquisite example of paradise. Captain Steve's two hard bottom inflatable vessels can get you there faster than all the rest. Waste no time in discovering the secrets of the reef and playing with dolphins, humpback whales, turtles and rays. There is no telling what we might encounter on any given day. No two trips are alike, and that's probably what keeps the captains and crew so friendly and accommodating. They are as excited about going to work as the guests are about going on a Maui rafting adventure! Constantly in search of the "Perfect Day" of snorkeling or whale watching, Captain Steve and his crew will stop at nothing to ensure unparalleled service and quality. Getting there is half the fun on our two custom built hard-bottom inflatable vessels, originally designed for Search & Rescue by the United States Coast Guard. Canefire I and Canefire II are both powered by twin smokeless engines and have 50% shade cover. Canefire I is USCG certified for 24 passengers, but we usually limit it to 20 for comfort. Canefire II is USCG certified for 37 passengers, but we usually limit it to 30 for comfort. Both have bench seating with backrests. For the more adventurous, riding on the pontoons gets you the closest to the water and the sea life, and riding in the bow in the "Dolphin Seat" can be thrilling! With the extra personal attention of a small group and the removal of restrictions commonly associated with large groups, this trip is perfect for first-time snorkelers and advanced snorkelers alike. No one does it better than Captain Steve's Rafting!

ACTIVITIES:

Lanai Snorkel Adventures

This trip has stood the test of time and has been taken by literally thousands of guests, many of whom continue to return year after year. Captain Steve has been conducting this adventure for over three decades. Waste no time in discovering the secrets of the reef and playing with dolphins, whales, turtles, and rays. There is no telling what we might encounter on any given day! We head across the channel to the island of Lana’i (weather permitting of course) where towering sea cliffs, sea caves, secluded coves, and lava rock pinnacles make up the setting. Imagine a pod of 200-300 spinner dolphins putting on a show just for you or swimming next to an endangered green sea turtle in the crystal waters of the Pacific above the most exquisite fringing reef in the entire State of Hawaii. Perhaps you will catch a glimpse of the most curious creature on the reef, an octopus, or an endangered Hawaiian Monk Seal! Manta rays, spotted eagle rays, pseudorcas (false killer whales), spotted dolphins, and bottle nose dolphins are all possible on any snorkel trip!

Year round, we offer our Deluxe Dolphin Lana'i Snorkel Adventure which is six hours on the water with 2-3 snorkel stops typically. A light breakfast and a full deli lunch are included.

Check in is at the Mala Boat Ramp in Lahaina, which has free parking! We recommend guests bring towels, cameras/underwater cameras, sunscreen, sunglasses and jackets. Call 808-667-5565 or visit www.captainsteves.com for more information.

All prices already include taxes and harbor fees.
