PADI Underwater Naturalist Specialty

Kauai is home to healthy coral reefs, interesting marine invertebrates, and multiple species of reef fish. Learn about what makes the Saddle Wrasse, Hawaiian Cleaner Fish, and Milletseed Butterfly fish so special. Differentiate between endemic, indigenous, and introduced species. Find out more about the reef ecosystem and demonstrate proper diving techniques that preserve the reef. Most divers agree that marine life identification and understanding animal behavior makes diving far more interesting.
